Description
Kanada war das erste Land, das in den 70er Jahren offiziell eine Politik des Multikulturalismus eingeführt hat. Im Rahmen dieses Vortrags sollen die zentralen Elemente, Erfolge und Misserfolge dieser Politik skizziert werden. Dabei geht es um die Frage, inwieweit Elemente einer solchen Politik trotz unterschiedlicher historischer, sozialer und kultureller Voraussetzungen auf Deutschland übertragbar sind.
