Die Geschichte von Orpheus und Eurydike handelt von unsterblicher Liebe, von Vertrauen, Hilflosigkeit und Verlust, aber auch von der Wirkung der Musik auf Götter, Menschen und Tiere. Ein reicher Römer ließ sich ein Mosaik erstellen, das Orpheus mit seiner Leier zeigt. Welche Motive steckten wohl hinter seiner Wahl? In dieser Führung werden Mythos und historische Rahmenbedingungen thematisiert.
