[laut] die Welt hören (in englischer Sprache)

At Humboldt-Box, Berlin, Germany
On 15th September 2018 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Description

Sound reaches us directly, and yet it is fleeting. It triggers deep emotions and only through sound, vibrations, noise, tones, music and speech our world is revealed as a whole. The Phonogramm-Archiv of the Ethnologische Museum in Berlin, the Lautarchiv of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the AMAR Foundation in Beirut have joined forces for this exhibition, enabling the visitor to hear and to experience the diverse approaches toward sound.
