Das Royal Ballet beteiligt sich mit der "Bernstein Celebration" an den weltweiten Feierlichkeiten zum 100. Geburtstag Leonard Bernsteins. Das dreiteilige Programm enthält zwei Weltpremieren von Wayne McGregor und Christopher Wheeldon, außerdem die erste Wiederaufnahme von Liam Scarletts The Age of Anxiety (Das Zeitalter der Angst) zu Bernsteins Sinfonie Nr 2.
In Fortsetzung seiner unverwechselbaren kreativen Kooperationen außerhalb der Welt des Tanzes enthält Wayne McGregors neues Ballett Designs des Künstlers Edmund de Waal, und wurde choreographiert zu Bernsteins Chichester Psalms. Christopher Wheeldon arbeitet mit dem vielfach ausgezeichneten Modedesigner Erdem Moralioglu zusammen, um die Kostüme für sein Stück zu kreieren.
