We're back once again with the sixth installment of our monthly residency at Berlin’s most beautiful rooftop: Klunkerkranich. To get rid of any post-vacation or pre-autumn blues, we’ve invited three phenomenal acts straight from the heart of the city, that will surely brighten up your mood: Lion Sphere, Unknown Neighbour and Påla.

It’s music with a view. We are welcoming you for drinks, good music and a spectacular view all over this beautiful town!

Lion Sphere
Last year Berlin quartet Lion Sphere released their debut EP “The Infinite You” which blends in an impressive range of influences: slow-burning beats, hip hop grooves, raspy vocals and laid-back guitars are just a few tools they built their yearning sound from. Having supported Mighty Oaks on their European tour in spring, Lion Sphere are eager to play more hypnotic live shows while currently preparing to record their debut album.

Unknown Neighbour
Singer/Songwriter Unknown Neighbour cites listening to Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More” as defining moment for his musical development. Having played the piano since his childhood Unknown Neighbour started to pick up banjo and guitar as well to write and perform his very own version of modern folk. Expect catchy, energetic and intense songs that are not too far away from the best output of his idols.

Påla
Berlin-based duo Påla creates electronic indie-pop that makes you shiver and dance at the same time. Singer Lena’s voice blows powerfully yet fragilely through cool synths, electric guitar and throbbing bass. Påla compare their songs to diary entries which make their performances very intimate while at the same time they open a opportunity to let go and get completely lost in their soundscapes.
