Der Film zeigt den Protestmarsch von 100.000 landlosen Adivasi und Bauern in Indien, die sich auf einen 400 Kilometer langen Fußweg von Gwalior nach Delhi machen. Mit diesem Marsch machen sie auf ihre Existenzbedrohung aufmerksam. Angeführt wird der Protestmarsch von Rajagopal P.V., einem indischen Aktivisten der Gewaltlosigkeit im Sinne Gandhis. Seine Organisation Ekta Parishad setzt sich insbesondere für die 80 Millionen Menschen ein, die in Indien zur Landbevölkerung zählen.
