About Frauengedeck:
Electronic music has a notorious woman problem, festivals and nightclub bookings are consistently dominated by male DJs. That's why "Frauengedeck" wants to support and present female DJs in a male dominated industry. The girls behind the decks will play different types of house and techno, but regardless of the style, you will always find them playing vinyl only sets, as they prefer the warmth of analog, and the classic feel of turntables.

About Polarity Shift and the networking event:
Polarity Shift organized a successful panel discussion and party at Berghain Kantine last October to raise awareness of the underrepresentation of women in the scene. Now, together with Frauengedeck, we would like to follow up with a networking event. Our idea is to bring female musicians with people from the industry together to encourage them to achieve their goals. The participants can establish meaningful connections that can lead to new ideas, new partnerships, friendships, or a new round of funding, new jobs, etc. ((More info soon.))
