F 2013, Regie: Reem Kherici, mit Reem Kherici, Cécile Cassel, Komödie, 95 Min.
Weil ihre Aufenthaltserlaubnis abgelaufen ist, wird die junge, seit 20 Jahren in Paris lebende Marokkanerin Maya, in ihre Heimat abgeschoben. Und das auch noch wo sie kurz davor war den Designerposten in einem Haute-Couture-Haus zu bekommen. Weder arabisch sprechend und mit kurzen Kleidchen und High Heels ihre neue Umgebung verwirrend, kommt sie am Rande der Wüste auch mit ihrer Familie nicht mehr klar. Klar, dass sie mit allen legalen und illegalen Mitteln bemüht ist nach Frankreich zurückzukehren. Doch allmählich beginnt sie doch ihre Wurzeln zu entdecken, was sie zu neuer Kreativität und am Ende zur Erfüllung ihres Lebenstraums führt.
