Die 21-jährige Architekturstudentin Sophie genießt ihr Leben in vollen Zügen, als bei ihr ein inoperabler Krebs diagnostiziert wird. Es folgt eine langwierige Chemotherapie mit ungewissem Ausgang. Sophie besorgt sich neun Perücken und tritt, je nach Haarfarbe und Frisur, mal trotzig selbstbewusst, mal romantisch verspielt oder kühl erotisch auf. Mit Humor, Mut und Zuversicht streckt sie der Krankheit den Mittelfinger entgegen.
