Der arbeitslose Schauspieler Alexander versucht sich in Frauenkleidern und ergattert als „Alexandra“ prompt eine Hauptrolle in einer Hollywood-Produktion. Seine unter notorischer Geldknappheit leidenden Brüder sind bemüht ihm das perfekte weibliche Outfit zu verpassen und mischen das Filmset auf.
