description:
Women's March Canada - Fraser Valley would like to acknowledge that Fraser Valley is on the traditional territory of the Stó:lō people. We keep this acknowledgment at the forefront of our march and thank the Stó:lō people for allowing us to gather.

The Ann Davis Transition Society, in partnership with the University of the Fraser Valley, invites you to save the date for a timely conversation about women’s issues and practical tools for community organizing and lobbying in the Fraser Valley. We will march from the Ann Davis Transition Society office at 9046 Young Rd. to Chilliwack City Hall at 8550 Young Rd.

Speakers will include: Joanne Gutierrez-Hugh (Xwiyolemot), former Tribal Chief with Stó:lō Tribal Council; Jackie Hogan, UFV’s acting president; and Patti MacAhonic, Ann Davis Transition Society executive director.

We are also excited to announce that Juno nominee Inez will be performing.

WE MARCH AGAIN ~ in solidarity with women and human rights groups from across the world we will be marching again to show that the progress made in 2017 was not enough. There is still so much work to do to protect and advance the rights of women, and the rights of all vulnerable citizens in our country.

Everyone is welcome! Please join us :)
