Come out to protest the bigots who harass Planned Parenthood patients! After a successful action in February, we're ramping it up for March to show these bigots that we still won't tolerate their hate and harassment, and that we will continue to defend our clinics whenever they are threatened. Women and all pregnant people demand access to abortion without fear of being harassed or shamed.
Every first Saturday of the Month, the Basilica of Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral leads a group of parishioners to the Planned Parenthood - Margaret Sanger Center to harass and intimidate patients. In a secular state, religious extremists should not be allowed to stop people from receiving healthcare. If we want to keep abortion legal and keep patients safe, we need to mobilize a visible, vocal, and unapologetic pro-choice response wherever and whenever reproductive rights are under attack.
In the light of the #MeToo movement, our message is more important than ever. Forced birth is a form of sexual violence. Let's expose these anti-choicers for the harassers they really are.
