description:
As well as marking 100 years since (some) women got the vote, 2018 is also the 50th anniversary of the Women’s Liberation Movement starting in Britain.
At the Feminist Library, we intend to celebrate the modern movement throughout this anniversary year, starting with this event, which coincides with our 43rd birthday!
So come and celebrate with us. Hear women who have been involved with iconic publishing such as Spare Rib magazine and Sheba Feminist Publishers; feminist publishing in Africa; and publishing feminist zines. Find out about feminist publishing today – and most importantly, eat cake and raise a glass to help us celebrate!
