ActionAid Melbourne North group are hosting a panel discussion on Thursday December 7 as part of 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women. RSVP here save your place >> http://act.ai/2icdfRy

The discussion, called “Economic justice for women”, will invite speakers and participants to discuss the need for funding for public services to stop violence against women.

Public services are critical to women in Australia and internationally. We know that to achieve gender equality and poverty eradication, women must have access to public services such as health, water, education and public transport. These services deliver better health, safety and employment outcomes.

This event will also explore how through taking steps to create a more transparent tax system we can free up the revenue needed to provide these essential services.

Let us know you're coming by RSVPing here >> http://act.ai/2icdfRy

We are celebrating 16 Days of Activism this year with 16 events across Australia in 16 days! We hope you can join us. For more information and to keep updated on what’s happening throughout the campaign, visit www.actionaid.org/australia/16-days-activism
