description:
We live in a society which is constantly bombarding us with messages about sex and often the messages we get are conflicting. Even more confusing are the messages we may get from our religious communities. These may conflict with the images we get from society at large or even prove to be internally inconsistent. What's a person to do?

Join Dr. Bat Sheva Marcus as we address some of those messages, take a
closer look at some of your preconceived notions and maybe even challenge some of you're a priori assumptions. How effective are some of the religious ritual frameworks like hilchot negiah, tzniut, hilchot nedah and what should/does a real, long term "normal" sexual relationship look like?

This event is a part of JOFA's Campus Fellowship program, and is being organized by Michal Dicker and Ariella Pultman, JOFA Fellows at Barnard College.

The JOFA Campus Fellowship is funded by a generous grant from Hadassah.
