description:
Discussing the finest in cult and contemporary feminist literature on the first Friday of every month.

This club is led by Feminist BFFs, a London collective which aims to bring academic Feminism together with the current surge of interest in Women’s Rights. FBFFs are an inclusive group, looking to bring together feminists from different backgrounds.

March's Club will discuss Rebecca Solnit's Men Explain Things to Me: and other essays. The title essay became a viral sensation, and in part popularised the termed 'mansplaining', as well as articulating those all-too-familiar experiences such as "that smug look I know so well in a man holding forth, eyes fixed on the fuzzy far horizon of his own authority”.

Bring your opinions and your wits.
