description:
This rally & march support International Women’s Day and “A Day without a Woman. We emphasize the common goals of equity, justice, and the human rights of women. Faculty, staff, students, and the general public, regardless of gender, are invited to participate.

The national theme emphasizes that “together we will mark the day by recognizing the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system--while receiving lower wages and experiencing greater inequities, vulnerability to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity.”

We will meet in the courtyard between Burnette & Georgiadis Halls.
