description:
Please join us for a morning in the garden! This is a wonderful chance to harvest Cota and learn about this native plant, which used for medicinal tea. We'll also be doing some planting, weeding, mulching, and rockwork. As always, we begin the day with a blessing.

We'll provide some light snacks as well as a big jug of water, so please bring a re-fillable water bottle.

All ages are welcome (though please note we aren't able to offer childcare). Bring a sun hat, and sturdy shoes. The garden is located in Valdez Park, behind the Española City Hall. (Heading north on 84/285, N Paseo de Onate, turn right onto Vietnam Veterans Memorial Road, you'll see us on the slope. You can park alongside the park, or in the lot for the Española Library/Lucero Center)
