Collective action for #climatejustice in Thailand!
มาร่วมทำกิจกรรมเพื่อเรียกร้องความเป็นธรรมเรื่องภูมิอากาศในประเทศไทย

Climate Camp 2015’s vision is to collaborate with local partners to create awareness about climate change and in particular, its impacts on women’s rights. Our objective is for attendees to learn more about climate change causes and impacts fostered through our current model of development rooted in inequality and patriarchy. This timing of this event is set approximately six weeks before the COP 21 negotiations in Paris as to foster a local movement leading up to the conference.

Climate Camp will focus on the impacts of climate change in Asia Pacific and in particular in Thailand. Our documentaries and speakers will look at the gender-specific impacts of climate change and how they disproportionately affects women, especially indigenous women. The camp’s content will also focus on the measures women in Thailand and across Asia Pacific have taken to adapt to environmental degradation and climate change.
