description:
The first weekend of March will see the 3rd annual Women in Media Conference, held once again at the People’s History Museum in the heart of Manchester.

Initially founded by a group of students at Manchester University, this student-led event has grown enormously in the past couple of years, and sees nationally acclaimed and influential women in the industry share their wisdom and experience. It now receives generous support from Amnesty International, Gorkana and the NUS, whom we cannot thank enough for their help.

This year’s conference will see TV producers, journalists, radio hosts, presenters and more share knowledge, anecdotes and tips on how to succeed through panels, Q&A sessions and workshops.

Everyone is welcome, students and non-students alike, so make sure you grab a ticket while you still can!

All profits are donated to Manchester Action on Street Health (MASH), and you can make further donations via this link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/womeninmediacon

Tickets are available now at www.womeninmediacon.co.uk/tickets and are selling fast! We can't wait to see you there.
