description:
Every year since 2015, Students for a National Health Program has organized a Medicare for All National Student Day of Action. Starting the week of December 4th, 2017, in honor of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights signed on December 10th, 1948, we will hold our 3rd annual student action: “#RightToHealth: The Improved Medicare-for-All Student Week of Action.”

Next week, students across the country will call on our senators to co-sponsor the Medicare for All Act of 2017, a bill that will treat health as a human right by providing health insurance to all people living in this country, from birth to death and regardless of sex, race, gender, or income.

Here's how you can help:

1. Share this FB event widely

2. Sign the petition: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe4zeCkEArk6PMDVH6_JdHSsyZLx2njt4E5OlxcCx1IYSxMIA/viewform

3. Join the Thunderclap: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/65346-righttohealth-week-of-action
We are collecting posts this week, and they'll all post together on Tuesday Dec. 5 @4pm
Make sure to add your target's FB or Twitter handle in the free text before posting so he/she sees your message! Find your target's social media handles here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_qvgTQOehiU5aaLiZ5XHXPixVW8XWdH7IggypScAKZ8/edit#gid=0

4. Call the US Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121, ask to be connected to your target, and ask him/her to co-sponsor the bill. Personal stories are particularly powerful, so feel free to share your experiences with un- and under-insured patients.
