NEW DATES AND LOCATION CONFIRMED

//TURN IT UP TO 11//

✨A gig night to fundraise for the Picturehouse Strike (and a bit for NCAFC too)✨

FEATURING: Osquello, Danny Trash, DJ Sets and more!
Mully's Basement Bar- (http://studentsunionucl.org/venues/richard-mullys-basement-bar)
Acts from 8pm
Suggested donation: £3 unwaged/ £7 waged (pay at the door)

✨WHAT IS THE PICTUREHOUSE STRIKE?✨
In 2007 Picturehouse staff at the Ritzy cinema in Brixton began a campaign for the living wage. Now 6 Picturehouse locations have joined the fight for living wage, sick pay, and parental leave by going on strike through their trade union BECTU. We are raising money for the strike fund of the Picturehouse workers.

Picturehouse is part of the Cineworld empire, with over 2,000 screens across 9 countries: so they can certainly afford to pay. But unfortunately so far they have refused even to talk with their staff, even sacking the four union reps at the Ritzy.

✨WHAT IS NCAFC?✨
We are a grassroots activist group of students and workers that are dedicated to fighting fees, cuts and privatisation in education. Along with organizing direct actions, we put on various events through out the year to help train student activists. Because we are a volunteer-based organization we need help funding these events. That’s why 30% of proceeds from this event will go to NCAFC to help us campaign for free and liberated education.
