description:
Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things tells the touching and powerful story of the first Inuit pride, held in Nunavut in 2014.

Featuring interviews and rare insight, this film looks not only at the event, but asks broader questions of tradition, race, colonialism and the intersection of competing identities. In particular the film looks at what it means to be First Nations (indigenous) and LGBTQ, and what the loss of traditional ways of life and values means in an apparently progressive future.

The screening will be followed by a short discussion on the film.
