Govt Must Act Now! Sack Police commissioner Neeraj Kumar!
Prosecute ACP Ahlawat!
Despite movement since 16dec shoddy investigation, apathy towards victim, Corrupt and insensitive attitude of shielding rapist continues unabated. Govt hasn't learned anything from movement against gender violence.
Stand with the girl child in her battle for life.
We wont leave the streets till the errant cops are punished! We demand accountability of the police and other institutions to PREVENT crimes against children and women, as well as to act promptly to nab offenders. This little girl could have been rescued - had the police acted promptly to look for her. We also need to ask - had she not been the daughter of a poor worker, would the police have acted the same way? In February the SC had ordered that FIRs be promptly registered in the case of every missing child, noting that "noone - not even the Centre or state govts - cares for missing children"
