The event will highlight how technological tools including
PeaceWomen’s expanded Women, Peace and Security mobile application can be used to combat obstacles to women’s full and equal access and participation in peace processes. Participants from the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), ABAAD – Resource Center for Gender Equality, and WITNESS will discuss the opportunities and limits of technical tools, advantages and risks involved in using them on the ground, and the importance of addressing structural obstacles to participation for peace and meaningful change.
