description:
Join our amazing archivists for a new series of drop-in events that will open the doors of the stores to share some of the surprising and varied collections we have in the GWL Archive.

Feminist responses to violence against women have a long and fascinating history in Scotland. As part of our project Speaking Out: Recalling Women’s Aid in Scotland, the archivists who have been capturing this important heritage will be spotlighting an array of anti-violence themed posters, photographs, and badges from our collections. There will be discussion on some pioneering feminist campaigns, and (of course) badge-making over tea!
