Workshop at the Global Solidarity Summit

Right-wing parties have gained political support in many European countries. For them, sustainable climate and energy policy is an „elitist“ topic that leaves parts of the population behind. They position themselves against a coal phase-out and the Paris Climate Accord. Energy transitions, however, have to be a socio-political project in order to succeed. How do we argue for the transition as it comes under attack by populists?

With:
- Virag Kaufer (Greenpeace International)
- Stefanie Groll (Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Berlin)
- Rebecca Bertram (Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Berlin)

Organiser:
Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung & Greenpeace International

Address:
Goldbekhaus, room 1,
Moorfuhrtweg 9
 22301 Hamburg
