Formerly owned by Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics and recently transformed by award-winning producer Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence & the Machine and many others), the studios have a fascinating history and now combine state-of-the art spaces with beautiful vintage equipment. Soundgirls.org members will have the chance to see the main epic space of Studio 1, which features a rare 72 channel vintage EMI Neve console, and have a look at the state-of-the-art writing room. Engineer Riley MacIntyre will be on hand to answer any questions about the studios and gear. This event is free for members of Soundgirls.org and is limited to 20 spaces. Exit through the Wells Terrace exit to the bus station, and take the W7 bus towards Muswell Hill Broadway. Get off at the Dickenson Road stop (on Crouch Hill), walk up towards Crouch End. The studios are in the large church on the left hand side, approx. 5 min walk from the bus stop By train: the nearest station is Crouch Hill on the Overground line. The studios are about 10-15min walk from here up Crouch Hill, or take the W7 bus to the Dickenson Road stop on Crouch Hill and walk from there.
