We’re holding a weekend training for people looking to become volunteer Community Leaders with ActionAid Australia.

Limited places available - register for the Sydney training here >> http://act.ai/2CCvCmt

We are looking for a group of skilled, diverse and passionate people to be trained as Community Leaders. If you’re passionate about women’s rights and ending poverty, have some spare time on your hands and want to be connected to a likeminded group of people then this might be the gig for you!

What is a Community Leader?

ActionAid Community Leaders help build a movement of activists in their local community that campaign in solidarity with women around the world for equality and justice. They organise events and campaign actions and bring people into our movement.

This weekend training is for 2018 Community Leaders to skill up in community organising, campaigning and ActionAid’s Human Rights Based Approach. It’s also an opportunity to connect with the Australia-wide network of ActionAid volunteers, as well as the broader ActionAid global network.

Find out more about becoming a Community Leader and make sure your registered as we have limited places >> http://act.ai/2CCvCmt
