Our favorite event of the year is coming right up! Hardy Girls Healthy Women’s Annual Girls Rock! Weekend is scheduled for April 4 & 5, 2014. Please save the dates and join us in celebrating Maine girls!

Right now, we’re looking for nominations for our Girls Rock! Awards. Awards will be given to girls ages 9-19 in five different categories:

Title IX Champion - for a girl advocating for equal access in school athletics
Health Advocacy - celebrating activism to make Maine a healthier place for girls
Against the Odds - an award dedicated to efforts to redefine "able" for Maine Girls
Community Organizing - awarded to a girl activist for her work mobilizing her peers
Entrepreneurship - honoring a girl who has turned her passion into a business

Do you know a girl ages 9-19 who's helping to make Maine a better place for girls? If so, we want to hear from you! Nominate a girl in your life for her activism and leadership. Anyone can nominate a girl! She doesn't need to be a member of Hardy Girls, nor does her awesome work have to have happened in the last year.

Honoring girls in all the ways they are making a difference is important to us. Each girl who is nominated gets a recognized in a myriad of ways! Nominating a girl is a great way to encourage a girl to keep up the great work as well!
