“The Weight of Not Feeling Enough” is that kitchen talk conversation your mama, your grandma and your entire family told you-to-mind-yo’-business ‘bout-but-you-still-find-a-way-to-talk-’bout-it-anyway. This panel and q+a style conversation invites you to sit back, get personal, break bread(crumbs) (snacks upon first come; first serve) about the way one’s identities can impact and complicate our understanding of how we navigate mental health, the stigmas surrounding learning disabilities and its affect on our lived experience.

This conversation addresses the ways that shame, the pressures of succeeding in high-achieving institutions, and imposter syndrome, feed and affect our self-talk and self-worth. If this sounds like a conversation you’d like to be a part of, come, bring a friend and be open to the possibility of your experiences being seen, heard and validated.

This event is for those who identify as all or some of the following: woman/feminine/queer/non-binary, person of color.

Featuring Panelists: Ashni | Coral | Chahney | Isabela | Noelle

*Snacks will be provided upon first come; first serve.
