description:
The Feminist Library holds one of the biggest collections of Second Wave publications in the UK, with approximately 7,000 books and 1,500 periodical titles, including such iconic titles from the Women's Liberation Movement as Spare Rib, Trouble & Strife, Ms Magazine, Red Rag, Shrew and many more.

Throughout Women's History Month, we will be holding a number of women's history events, including weekly Herstory Fridays, as we celebrate not just the centenary of women's suffrage but also the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Second Wave of the feminist movement in Britain this year.

Drop in at any time during our opening hours to view our exhibition highlighting gems of Second Wave publishing in our collections. We can take you on a tour of our unique resource or you can browse in your own time.

We're also holding a panel and discussion on the topic on our birthday on 14th March! Save the date!
