description:
These events are to commemorate the Women's March in D.C. and around the world in 2017, as well as to KEEP INVIGORATED the people working to protect our Democracy against the current hostile regime in Washington. There will be a prequel (lol! the Decoration Party this Sunday at the VILLAGE HALL community room in Potsdam 2-4pm.) Then the PART I: March for Democracy/Women's March Commemorative March on Saturday, Jan. 20th in Canton. Followed on FEBRUARY 3rd, by PART II: the Women's March Commemoration Potluck and Movie Night on February 3rd at the UU Church.

There are many issues at stake in our country right now, but I see our DEMOCRACY as an umbrella over all of them. To save CIVIL RIGHTS, Freedom of Speech, Honor in our system, Voting Rights, the Environment, Women's Rights, and to get the $$ and Gerrymandering out of our political system, we need to tell Congress that we want DEMOCRACY in our US of A. We need to let them know that "WE THE PEOPLE" means they need to listen to us!!!
