JOIN US to CELEBRATE the ANNIVERSARY of the Women's March in Frederick (2017), where more than 1,000 of us gathered to march for civility, respect, justice, and fairness for ALL people!
We will MEET at the corners of Market Street and Patrick Street at 1pm on Sunday, JANUARY 21st. We will then march down to Carroll Creek where we will all rally together and organizers will also be there to gather with everyone to share a few thoughts!
BRING a sign that speaks to your hopes and aspirations, for what you stand up to oppose, for what you support in our communities, our civic lives, and our politics! THIS is DEMOCRACY IN ACTION!
So, let's KICK OFF the 2018 Election cycle right...by making sure ALL of us are informed, engaged, registered to vote, and ready to get to work!
* Look for the Betsy Ross flag (see photo above) that will be carried by one of our organizers, and if you have questions, volunteers will be sporting balloons so that they are easy to find!
**Volunteers will will also have VOTER REGISTRATION forms to hand out to those who may need to register to vote!
***This is an official Sister March of the Women's March, as we were in 2017, that includes most of the original organizers from that march.

***PARKING LOT INFO: On this map, we are at the intersection of 355 and 144 (more commonly known as the corners of Market and Patrick Streets) where our march will begin at 1pm. We will head up 355-Market Street toward Carroll Creek where the March will end near the bridge and amphitheater area near the library.
