description:
Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants (LGSMigrants) invite you to our last open meeting of 2017!
Venue: SOAS University of London - nearest station is Euston. It's wheelchair accesible. Let us know if you have any questions about accesibility.

Following the success of our recent actions and fundraisers we want your help to decide which steps are next for LGSMigrants and how best to take them. Over the past year we have organised street bucket-shakes and fundraising events to support migrant projects in Calais and London, organised a variety of creative direct actions to protest against UK and European immigration policies and worked with a variety of groups to stand shoulder to shoulder with migrant communities. And now it's more important than ever to boldly challenge bigotry and our racist border system - so come and help us plot and plan some queer campaigns for the coming months.

We welcome all LGBTQIA+ people who want to take action to open the UK's borders, combat the dangerous anti-migrant initiatives of the Home Office and counter the bigoted narratives of the right-wing press, which pits marginalised communities against each other.

We hope you are able to join us on the 30th to talk about where to go next
