Electronic music has a notorious woman problem, festivals and nightclub bookings are consistently dominated by male DJs.
Some still can’t believe that a woman can do a good male dominated job.
But there are a lot of great female producer, DJs and artist out there, many people underestimate them.
We are living in a new era and more and more woman try to find satisfaction and love in music. They work hard to build up something and create a part of that tough business to fight against the prejudices that many men still have.
That's why "Frauengedeck" wants to support and present female DJs in a male dominated industry. The girls behind the decks will play different types of house and techno.
