The Berlin Feminist Film Week is teaming up with DISCOVER FOOTBALL for an open air screening of the film Girlhood on July 1st.
"A girl with few real prospects joins a gang, reinventing herself and gaining a sense of self confidence in the process. However, she soon finds that this new life does not necessarily make her any happier."
Celine Sciamma's Girlhood has been appraised at many film festivals around the world and has been described as the best coming-of-age drama of the year(2014).
DISCOVER FOOTBALL is an annual football tournament, cultural festival and meeting point for women all around the world and takes place in Berlin on June 30th - July 5th.
We also encouraged all of you to join in for the football games!
