If you're interested in organising with Sisters Uncut South East London, come join our introductory meeting and learn what we're about!
Sisters Uncut is a feminist direct action group fighting to stop cuts to domestic violence services. In Feb we stormed the red carpet at the BAFTAs to call times up on Theresa May and the upcoming DV bill. The bill is a dangerous distraction, giving police increased powers instead of funding refuges and specialist domestic violence services.
In this introductory meeting, we'll give an intro to:
- our values
- our history
- what we're currently up to
- and how we work together.
It will be a relaxed meeting for new sisters, with a break in the middle. No pressure and no-one put on the spot. There'll also be some space to get to know each other too. Invite your Sisters, come say hi and join our fight - we need you!
We don't have a huge room so to make sure you get a space please email selsistersuncut@gmail.com to let us know you're coming. We'll post when we're full up. There is another intro meeting on 2 June 💚💜
