Join us for some good-humoured chat about food and feminism, helping us to get our teeth into topics such as the diet industry, food advertising and gender roles in the kitchen, as well as hearing some inspiring stories of how women have been empowered through food.
Hosted by Women's Equality Party member Nicola Swift, a food product and recipe developer, we'll kick off with a short introduction to a few hot topics before letting you evolve the discussion while we feed you a feast. The proceeds from this fundraiser will support the Hackney Women's Equality Party to stand in the local election this May. Come hungry as there will be plenty of food and drink!
Start: Arrive from 7pm
Introduction: 7:30pm

There will be lots of places to sit and seating can be prioritised, however please note this is not a formal sit-down dinner.
Drinks have kindly been donated by Alexia Pepper de Caires. £15 of every ticket goes directly towards the party's local election campaign fund.
Location: Clapton, close to Hackney Central and Homerton overground stations - exact address will be confirmed to ticket holders.
