Description
For the one-year anniversary of the massive mobilization of the Women’s March, the U.S. groups We Are March On, Women’s March, #MeToo, and #PowerToThePolls are organizing hundreds of demonstrations on January 20-21, dubbed #WeekendOfWomen (WOW).
In our 1st rally of 2018, we stand in support of multiple social justice and human rights issues ranging from the protection of the environment, the elimination of nuclear weapons, the struggle for peace in the world, equal rights for all colors, religions, nationalities, genders and sexual orientation, reduction of military spending, etc.
Italian activist groups with similar aims will be joining us, as they did in last year’s demonstrations.
