COME ALONG TO OUR FIRST MEETING IN 2018!
Sisters Uncut is a direct action group fighting to defend domestic violence services. New sisters always welcome, you don't need to be an expert to be valuable.
Our meetings are open to all women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary, agender and gender variant people. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual.
Our meetings and spaces are not open to people who identify solely or primarily as men. If you have any queries regarding our gender inclusion policy, please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
Accessibility: The venue has level access and wheelchair accessible toilets. Some streets around the venue have curbs that might be hard to navigate for wheelchair users. The nearest bus and Overground stations (Overground: Harringay Green Lanes) are wheelchair accessible, but some distance away from the venue. Other rooms in the venue are used as art spaces, a cafe and as music studios, so there might be some background noise distraction.
We have regular breaks and operate a traffic light sticker system for people who find communication difficult. We also offer Skype so that if you are unable to attend the meeting in person you can still get involved! If you want to discuss how we can make the meeting accessible to you, please get in touch.
If you want to come to the meeting and have children (they are very welcome!) or need support with travel costs, get in touch with us at nlsistersuncut@gmail.com.
