NEW Nomadic OPENCALL: FILM WORKSHOP FOR MIGRANT WOMEN

Dear friends,

If you are a MIGRANT WOMAN and you want to learn more about film: how to create a narrative, capture images, edit, and record sound - this is the perfect workshop for you.

Over 4 intensive days, you will learn to expresss your personal vision using film and get to know all the different stages and elements of filmmaking by collaboratively learning to produce a short film.

Taking the city of Berlin and its immediate surroundings as our field of work, the workshop aims to delve into the experience of living in a new home, learning to express this theme through the lense.

We believe film is a very empowering tool to express our voices and perspective as new citizens of Berlin.

Prior experience in the field is NOT necessary, only your motivation and energy to learn! If you have experience and want to improve your knowledge, this is also the perfect opportunity for you.

The workshop takes place over 4 intensive days, 30 NOV - 3 DEC, from 10:00-17:00, plus one extra day where we will screen the works conceived during the workshop and celebrate our achievements. Lunch will be provided and the workshop is FREE OF CHARGE.

IMPORTANT:
The participants are expected to commit to the entire workshop.
