Tetris Tournament: Women's Choice Edition

Hey kids, let's have another session before all the end of the year activities!

Turn up, hang out, play some vidyagames, compete, have a tasty drink – the usual!

This is a very special edition – we're raising money for Polish abortion advice & support organisations. You may have read about the situation in Poland in the news recently:

So they could certainly use our help! Here is a list of organisations we are in touch with:

'Kobiety w Sieci' a polish organisation of women who have had an experience of having an abortion (but not only). They inform other people on safe abortion options at home, using pills from WHW and give out other practical advice. They offer abortion doulas, as well as as an online support forum etc.

'Porozumienie Kobiet 8 Marca' are an informal organisation of people of all genders as well as NGOs and other groups organising to finance Manifa (biggest feminist demonstration in Poland, from the above article) and other protests.

'Women Help Women' is an international group of activists, trained counsellors and non-profit organisations and foundations. They bridge the gap between reproductive rights advocacy efforts and service provision. Feminists around the world are co-operating to put reproductive health products such as contraceptives and medical abortion, into women’s hands, where they belong.

So at the event we will have a jar where you can pass on some donations, we are also encouraging to contribute £3 for the entry to the tournament - £2 going to the prize pot and £1 towards the Polish abortion support teams.

Registration for the tournament ends at 6:30pm!!
£2 tournament entry fee goes to a pot:
1st prize - 70% of the £££
2nd prize - 30%
3rd prize - free drink of your choice!
