Dating as a feminist 8 november
Ever thought you met a really nice guy only to have him call you a bitch later when he disagreed with you? Or a self-proclaimed feminist who uses faux-feminism to woe you? Or perhaps you identify as non-binary and feel frustrated about the binary way of thinking in dating life, perhaps you’ve come across racist dating profiles and feel exhausted. Or maybe you are asexual or aromantic, and you are constantly confronted with society’s strict dating status quo. Whatever it may we felt an opportunity to share and discuss the experiences and difficulties with fellow feminists was more than welcome. The 8 of november we will start with performances by several artists, who will in different styles give their take on dating as a feminist. Afterwards there is time to talk with each other.
Performers:
Pelumi Adejumo, Nigerian born but Brabant based, is an art student who integrates her heritage and social justice of all kinds into her work. She tries to stay as close to herself as possible to be able to stay warm and close to others. Her art forms are theatre, poetry & vocals.

Feel free to share resources that were helpful to you on the event page. We ask everyone to read at least two.
