We know that Black students at UAL are 20% less likely to graduate with 1st or 2.1.
We know that only 47% of International students graduate with a 1st or 2.1.
We know that our curriculum is predominantly pale, male and stale.

Over the past year, we have had plenty of conversations about the experiences of students of colour at UAL, and liberating our curriculum to ensure that is truly global, inclusive and representative.
It's time to ensure those conversations have been turning into actions by the University. Come along to an open discussion with staff & students, about what's happening now about the Attainment Gaps at UAL.
We will be joined by staff and students who have been working on attainment at the university, including:
- Lucy Panesar (Diversity & Inclusion Education Developer, Teaching and Learning Exchange)
- ArtsFems Society
- African-Carribbean Society
- LGBTQ+ Society
We will then follow up with an open discussion; this is not only an opportunity to find out what's happening, but also to discuss your experiences and your thoughts!
Get involved - bring your questions, and add your opinion to the mix!
FREE refreshments will be provided - book for free to ensure there's enough to go round and to guarantee entry! 🍪
