Beyond the Breasts [International Release]

Infinita Productions and DMovies will be holding this exclusive international release of Beyond the Breasts on October 26th | Thursday @ The Institute of Light, IOL Cinema, which will be followed by a Skype Q&A with the film Director Adriano Big.

Beyond the Breasts examines femininity, body and gender in our contemporary society. It delves into a wealth of urgent topics such as harassment and violence towards women, feminism, SlutWalk, objectification of women, body fascism, transgenderism, mastectomy, cosmetic surgery and breastfeeding. The message tolerance and respect is empowering and conspicuous.

As the title suggests, this Brazilian film goes beyond the female body. It also takes a look at abortion, legalisation of marijuana, queer theory, media representation, religion and much much more. Join us for the movie, a debate and stay abreast with the female world of nowadays.
