Free, drop-in
Join us for an evening exploring women’s history as shown in the archives of Bishopsgate Institute at this free pop-up display. Find out more about grassroots protests, everyday women's lives, and the campaigns that have motivated women from the second wave of feminism in the 1970s to today.
Discover more about the methods of communication, style and design that women have used to recruit and inspire people to the cause. With short talks across the evening, this is an opportunity to browse inspirational materials that document the activism of women in the last 50 years.
You will be able to make your own badge using some of the images from our Special Collections and Archives.
