Purple Purse Challenge

Domestic violence is at an epidemic level in this country. One in three women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime – that’s more than breast cancer, ovarian cancer and lung cancer combined. While most people think only of physical abuse when they consider domestic violence, financial abuse occurs in 99% of all cases of domestic violence. It’s an invisible weapon that keeps victims trapped in abusive relationships.

Allstate Foundation Purple Purse is bringing financial abuse out of the shadows and using financial empowerment to break the cycle of domestic violence.
