Für Geflüchtete Frauen: Ein Empowerment Seminar:
Wie können Frauen sich stärken und Unterstützung finden?
Die Seminarleiterin ist Damarice M. Okore.
Sie lebt seit September 2009 in Deutschland, und bereits seit Dezember 2009 ist sie bei „Women in Exile & Friends“ aktiv für die Rechte Geflüchteter Frauen. Drei Jahre lang lebte sie selber in einem Heim in Cottbus als Geflüchtete Frau. Heute arbeitet sie als Hausbetreuerin bei der DRK Flüchtlingshilfe Brandenburg gGmbH in Wünsdorf.
In diesem Seminar möchte Damarice ihre Geschichte und Erfahrungen hier in Deutschland mit anderen Geflüchteten Frauen teilen. Sie wird dabei u.a. Fragen zu Asylverfahren beantworten sowie über Handlungsmöglichkeiten nach Ablehnung eines Asylantrags informieren.
