PERFORMANCES BY:
Cruising: A Queer Tango
Rae and Lysander started learning Ballroom & Latin dancing in 2015 with Rachel Sparks Dance. They both found they had a mutual love and desire for Ballroom Tango so began creating a queer piece of dance with Rachel Sparks, 'Cruising, A Queer Tango'. This premiered at the popular event Strictly Queer Dancing in 2016 and since then the duo have been asked to perform at various spaces in London including RVT, Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, Look Back In Pride and the Lost Theatre. They continue to learn Ballroom and Latin and hope to create more queer work in the future.
Ray
Ray is a performer, musician and writer whose work explores desire around the queer/trans body, genderfuck drag, kink, anarchism and punk - through live art, spoken word and strip-tease. Their solo show Non-Binary Electro Hour is on on September 21st at the Camden People's Theatre, as part of the Come As You Are festival.
Danny Polaris
Singer/Songwriter Danny Polaris is a jazz, soul and house vocalist, top-line writer and one half of electropop project, Draco Draco. He's also an actor specialising in immersive characters for events, parties and festivals.

My family is from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
My choreography is about many things and occupies varying kinds of spaces, from the gallery to the internet contexts. Some things I’m interested are: queerness x blackness x gayness, dissents against nationalism, the allostatic load, imprints of physical and visual experiences on the body, off-kilter organisation, psycho-somatic states, the deep dark web, violence and desire amongst many other things. I have a small studio called ian’s RESEARCH BODEGA and am currently an Associate Artist at Hackney Showroom in Dalston.
